Upper Cervical Chiropractic care may be unlike anything you have ever experienced. Upper cervical focuses on the proper function on your nervous system and optimizing the communication between your brain and body.

We monitor your brainstem and nervous system and its overall affect on your health.  I am very concerned with a condition that can have a very negative effect on your health called a subluxation.  A subluxation occurs when the top bone in your neck, the atlas vertebrae, misaligns, causing interference within your brainstem and nervous system.  This area is so important because the atlas vertebrae surrounds one of the most vital areas of your body, the area where your brainstem and your spinal cord meet.  When the atlas misaligns, it causes a compromise in the messages sent from the brain to the entire body.  This is a very serious problem, because when the brain cannot communicate with the body, and vice versa, the body begins to break down, or degenerate.

Due to the fact that we have no sensory nerves, the nerve that allow us to feel pain, pressure, and touch, in our brain and spinal cord, we cannot “feel” a subluxation, we can only experience its effects.  These effects include, neck and back pain, headaches, migraines, high blood pressure, fibromyalgia and countless others.  Therefore if you are suffering for some sort of condition or diagnosis, there may be, and probably is, a neurological component that is being over-looked.  My goal is to determine if there is neurological interference within your system and correct it.  If this can be done your body will transform from a degenerating state to a regenerating state and your body will begin to heal itself.  

As I stated earlier our approach is very different than most other doctors.  There is no twisting popping or cracking of your spine at any time in our office.  We employ state of the art infrared thermography, for an accurate gauge of the nervous system, and digital x-rays, to ensure that you are getting the best care possible.  Since no two spines are alike, each adjustment is unique and tailor-made to the individual, in addition we perform before and after objective neurological measurements to ensure proper functioning of the nervous system with each correction.
